DTP’s  Bealtaine Festival Afternoon Tea Dance ….

Members of the public are invited to attend Donegal Travellers Project’s 7th annual Afternoon Tea Dance as part of the Bealtaine Festival calendar of events highlighting creativity in older age. Musical entertainment, light refreshments, and a display of Traveller culture will be featured at the €3-admission event on Wednesday, 15th May, at the Villa Rose Hotel in Ballybofey from 2 to 5 p.m.
The Afternoon Tea Dance, which is organised by the Donegal Travellers Primary Health Care Project, provides an opportunity for older people from different cultures and communities to enjoy a bit of craic together. The event will also showcase Traveller history and culture at an exhibition from 2 to 4 p.m. featuring old-time photographs and examples of traditional Traveller craftsmanship, including tin-smithing and paper flower-making.
Places at the Afternoon Tea Dance are limited, so anyone interested in attending is asked to book before 9th May by ringing (074) 912 9281.
